I spent 3 days in the hospital last week with low calcium. I am home and feeling better, but I am on a restricted routine basically for the rest of the month of February. Between my body adjusting to the new medication regimen I am on right now, and then adjusting to the new regimen when they change my doses in the coming weeks, I am limited to 50% intensity. I was also given Heparin shots (blood thinners) in the hospital, so I am at a higher risk of bleeding and bruising.
On a good note, Stacy did my one month measurements last Saturday, and I lost a total of 6.5 inches ... in a month!!! And, as of yesterday at Weight Watchers, I am down 10.2 pounds since January 4th!! Due to doctors orders, I have to concede the month of February ... I will workout when I feel able to (at 50%), but I will be good with my food choices. I am sticking to the new plan on Weight Watchers and hope for a decent loss this month, although I doubt it will be anywhere close to another 10 pounds.
Hopefully the new medication will agree with me and I will be back to 100% intensity in March!
