Before I get into that...
Let me start by saying healing takes time and I have finally learned that as well as many other things, like don't trip on the stairs because 2 months later, IT STILL HURTS!
My status now: I go to physical therapy 3 times a week for about 2 hours each day. My physical therapist is great and definitely pushes me to keep going! I am able to go to the gym on my own which I try to do on the days I am not in physical therapy, thinking I may be able to speed up the recovery process but the therapist keeps telling me that is impossible, never hurt trying! I am still recovering, and I have a lot more time to do so but my quadricep is getting stronger and I was told yesterday that within 8-12 weeks of surgery I will be able to jog again so I am definitely looking forward to that! The pain between 1-10 is about a 2 only when I trip on the stairs or walk too much, otherwise I feel great! The scars are small and I will blog a picture soon. The swelling has almost went completely down but there is still some that the therapist said is normal so I am not too worried. Well enough of me... Comment questions if you have!
About the new addition:
Well here it goes, as you all know I am a personal trainer and I work at the YMCA as well as outside training on my own. It is a struggle to build clientele and earn people's trust when they have never met me so I decided to challenge myself. I have had many success stories in my years of personal training in which people's lives have changed drastically but now I want to take everyone through the pain, sweat and tears because it is NOT easy! I am challenging a client of mine to take part in a 90 day challenge and see how her life changes in 90 days. I will post up her workouts and she will post pictures, feelings, her diet and her medical conditions throughout the 90 days! I am hoping she will inspire others to take control of their life and know that it won't be easy but in the end it will be worth it! Please get the word out and follow us. She will need as much push, support and encouragement as you have to offer because regardless of her dedication she will be enduring a life change that is not easy to go through.
The blog is listed on top: 90 Days to the new me!
