I wish I had a better excuse of why I do not write often but all I can say is, I need to start writing more often...I have so much to write but as my days feel shorter and shorter I do not have enough time in the day to dedicate to writing. Hopefully once works starts and I get on a much better routine and my day is even more swamped I'll be able to spare a few minutes to speak my mind. That will all be put to the test in a week when I go back to work on Tuesday. Not the worst thing in the worst since I do have a new principal and really hoping to finally be treated like I belong there. Working my ass off everyday without recognition is hard to go through but I did a year of it and I'm still willing to work as hard as I can, reminding myself everyday that I am here for those kids. I may not be able to teach them everything I would like them to know but I will definitely make them laugh, support them through the times when giving up seems to make a lot more sense and be there for them to talk to whenever they need. They may not be my description in the classroom but a teacher and students bond is more important than anyone can imagine. Enough of that story...I will blog about my job as it goes on, for now I am keeping an open heart and mind and getting ready for a successful year to begin.
Some things that are a little more important, my clients, well for one, Stefanie has been doing absolutely amazing. Not a day went by in my mind when I thought she wouldn't but she has had a complete turn around. Actually the other day I recorded her jumping rope, without stopping for an entire minute. Unfortunately I can't post it because everything on my phone was deleted and I was only able to retrieve things from June...sorry...it was a huge accomplishment for her..but I was able to get this one---she doesn't know I took this--now she'll know!

This is not her sitting and relaxing, this is Stefanie completely exhausted after sprinting, suicides, grapevine, squats, jumping jacks, lunges...need I say more but...SHE'S A MACHINE!! Ok now she's going to hate me for posting that picture up but that's ok...she's leaving for vacation tomorrow so she really can't hate anything at this moment :)
It seems like Stefanie is my only client and if life was that simple it would be boring. I have another client which has had major success but let me back it up before I get ahead of myself. I met Tim and his long term friend, Alcohol a year and a half ago. I was jealous of being the third wheel so time and time again I told Tim he had to cut the ties of this friend for our time spent together to be beneficial. It didn't happen over night but it happened. I became his drug of choice well not me perhaps but the gym. That's a success in itself that many may not be able to appreciate but I definitely do. After just learning from his doctor that he may be put on medicine for cholesterol he only had one option less and that was to loose weight, change his diet and work on becoming healthy and that's when we met :). Now a year and a half in the bag Tim has lost about 25 pounds, started a new job and never had to go on the cholesterol medication. Tim has completely transformed his life and yes I can say it, he is now a full breed GYM RAT! Tim's new job include a lot of traveling and you can follow him on his journey to different states, different gyms, and different foods through this his blog that I am 100% sure you will get a good laugh out of!! CHECK IT OUT!!
